Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Friesen Elektra Green Energy AG have launched Project Anker, a green hydrogen facility in Sande, Germany, with an initial 400 MW electrolysis capacity, expandable to 800 MW. The project aims to produce 80,000 tons of green hydrogen annually, using renewable energy. The facility, near Wilhelmshaven, could reduce CO2 emissions equivalent to 340,000 households and support industries like steel and chemicals.
