Cambodia and Indonesia signed an agreement on January 15, 2025, to cooperate on sustainable tourism management at two UNESCO world heritage sites: Cambodia's Angkor Archaeological Park and Indonesia's Borobudur Temple. The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance smart, sustainable, and environmentally friendly tourism practices at both sites.
