UK homebuilder Persimmon reported a 7% increase in home completions to 10,664 in 2024, with average selling prices up 5% to £268,500. The company expects its underlying pre-tax profit to meet market expectations, driven by a stronger private home market and an 8% rise in forward sales to £1.15bn. Despite a drop in net cash to £260 million, Persimmon remains optimistic about the housing market.
