Palestinians dedicate "Freedom Farm" olive grove to honor former U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
Palestinians in Tulkarem, West Bank, have dedicated an olive grove named "Freedom Farm" to honor late U.S. President Jimmy Carter, planting 250 olive trees on 2.5 acres of land. Carter, who passed away at 100, is remembered for his support of the Palestinian cause and his role in the Camp David peace accords. The grove, protected by fencing, is a joint project between local farmers and the U.S. nonprofit Treedom for Palestine.
