A Nigerian court ordered Olugbenga Obadina, CEO of Almond Projects Limited, to be remanded in custody over allegations of N2.17 billion fraud linked to the Dasukigate scandal, involving misused funds meant for combating Boko Haram. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission re-arraigned Obadina on eight counts of money laundering. He pleaded not guilty, and the court set a future date for further proceedings.
