Swiss skier Marco Odermatt won the World Cup giant slalom in Adelboden for the fourth straight year, tying a record set by Ingemar Stenmark. Despite being third in the first run, Odermatt overtook teammate Loïc Meillard in the second to claim victory. Odermatt's win extends his lead in both the overall World Cup and giant slalom standings, aiming for a fourth consecutive crystal trophy. Luca De Aliprandini secured third place.
