Ontario schools introduce programs to prevent addiction and reduce vaping among teens.

The Thames Valley District School Board in Ontario, Canada, is launching the PreVenture program in a dozen schools to help 12-18 year olds at risk for addiction. The program focuses on teaching coping skills, goal-setting, and self-awareness to prevent addictive behaviors. Alongside, the Quash program will offer an eight-week intervention to help students quit vaping and smoking, addressing the rise in vaping rates among students.
