Czech inflation reached a one-year high of 3.0% in December, while retail sales growth slowed to 4.3%.

Czech Republic's inflation hit a 1-year high of 3.0% in December, up from 2.8% in November, driven by higher food, non-alcoholic beverage, and transportation costs. Despite this, annual retail sales growth slowed to 4.3% in December from 5.1% in November. The country's current account surplus also increased to CZK 30.0 billion in November.
