The China Cultural Center in Sofia hosted an event celebrating the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival, which begins on January 29 and marks the Year of the Snake. El Centro Cultural de China en Sofía organizó un evento para celebrar el próximo Año Nuevo Lunar Chino, o Festival de Primavera, que comienza el 29 de enero y marca el Año de la Serpiente. Over 200 Bulgarians attended, engaging in tea ceremonies, calligraphy, paper-cutting, and performances. Más de 200 búlgaros asistieron, participando en ceremonias de té, caligrafía, corte de papel y actuaciones. The event aimed to promote Chinese culture and enhance Bulgarian-Chinese relations, with the Spring Festival recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage.
