Binghamton man charged with second-degree murder after 54-year-old woman found shot in apartment.
A Binghamton man, Terell Heyward, has been charged with second-degree murder after 54-year-old Sarah Hauer was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head inside a high-rise apartment building. Hauer was confronted by Heyward, a close friend's former boyfriend, who fled the scene but was later found with a loaded handgun that had been reported stolen. Heyward also faces charges for criminal possession of a weapon and stolen property.
