Azerbaijan cleared over 1,000 hectares of mined land, removing hundreds of mines and ordnances.

Azerbaijan's Mine Action Agency cleared 1,043 hectares of land between January 3 and January 12, neutralizing 192 anti-personnel mines, 55 anti-tank mines, and 567 unexploded ordnances. This demining effort is part of Azerbaijan's broader initiative to restore and develop liberated territories, ensuring safer living conditions for returning residents and supporting infrastructure development.
