Wisconsin's state park passes now valid for 12 months from purchase, offering better value to visitors.

As of January 1, 2025, Wisconsin's state park passes are now valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, a change similar to Minnesota's policy. Previously, passes were only valid through December 31 of the purchase year. This adjustment provides better value for frequent park visitors, with the annual pass costing only a few dollars more than two-day passes. Reduced-rate passes are still available for residents 65 and older with Wisconsin plates.
