Wildlife officials and climbers rescue an elk entangled in ropes at a Colorado ice climbing site.

Wildlife officials and ice climbers in Colorado rescued a bull elk entangled in a rope at an ice climbing site near Lake City. The Colorado Parks and Wildlife team tranquilized the elk, cut the rope from its antlers, and used ropes to safely lower the 700-pound animal. After reversing the tranquilizer, the elk woke up and ran off into the canyon. The rescue took over two hours.
