A wildfire in Yuen Long, Hong Kong, burned for over 20 hours starting at 5:30 pm on January 11th. The fire initially spread over 80 meters but later split into two sections. Firefighters, with help from helicopters and hill fire teams, worked throughout the night to control the blaze. Two hikers were rescued, and a dog shelter was secured. The fire was largely extinguished by 10:40 am on January 12th, leaving two small active fire lines.
