Telangana launches new Rs 12,000 per acre farmer subsidy scheme starting Jan 26.

The Telangana government is launching the Rythu Bharosa scheme on January 26, offering farmers Rs 12,000 annually per acre, up from Rs 10,000 under the previous scheme. Assistance is for registered agricultural land only, with non-cultivable lands excluded. Financial support will be distributed directly to farmers' bank accounts. The government also plans to provide Rs 12,000 annually to landless agricultural families through a separate program.
