Interior Health reports outbreaks of gastrointestinal illnesses and respiratory infections at various healthcare facilities across British Columbia, affecting Williams Lake, Salmon Arm, Penticton, Kelowna, Vernon, and Castlegar. The illnesses spread through contaminated food, surfaces, or airborne droplets, with symptoms including nausea, fever, cough, and weakness.
