Arunachal Pradesh's Chief Minister Pema Khandu launched a month-long rafting expedition on the Brahmaputra River, starting from Gelling and ending at Dhubri-Hatsingimari, covering 916 km. Organized by the National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports, the expedition aims to promote adventure tourism, environmental awareness, and inspire youth to engage in adventure sports. It marks the first full-length rafting journey on the Brahmaputra within India.
