A former corrections officer, Darren Danslow, must pay over $400,000 in damages to a speed camera operator he assaulted in Oberon, Australia, in February 2023. The victim suffered life-changing injuries, including losing his upper teeth. Danslow was placed on a two-year Intensive Correction Order for the assault, which occurred after he falsely accused the speed camera operator of being a pedophile and demanded entry to his car.
