Aldi and Woodman's lead as the most affordable U.S. grocery stores, study finds.

A recent study by MarketForce Information ranked the most affordable U.S. grocery stores based on consumer responses, highlighting "convenient location" and "value for money." Aldi, with 214 Illinois locations, and Woodman's Markets, with 19 stores in Wisconsin and Illinois, were among the cheapest. Despite slower price increases, food costs remain high, pushing Americans to seek cheaper grocery options. Other budget-friendly chains include Lidl, Save-A-Lot, and Sprouts Farmers Market.
