The Lake District Ski Club, the UK's oldest geographically based ski club founded in 1936, recently celebrated two days of skiing on Raise Fell.
Located between Helvellyn and the Dodds at 750 meters above sea level, the club is known for its first ski lift, a rope tow built in 1954.
With around 400 members, including children accompanied by adults, the club stresses the importance of proper equipment and safety.
It also owns 'The Powder Room,' the second-highest flushing toilet in England.
