The QEII emergency department in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is temporarily only accepting patients with life-threatening emergencies due to a partial power outage. Nova Scotia Health advised to call 911 for urgent medical needs and suggested contacting family doctors for non-urgent care. The hospital resumed normal operations later the same night.
