Elon Musk's company, Neuralink, has implanted its brain-computer interface device in a third human and plans to do 20 to 30 more in 2025. The device aims to help people with conditions like paralysis and ALS control external devices with their minds. Neuralink has two studies registered with the FDA: one for paralyzed patients to control devices like computers, and another for controlling assistive robotic arms.
