Michael McCoy, 67, appears in court accused of robbing two banks and brandishing a gun.

Michael Anthony McCoy, a 67-year-old man from Roanoke, appeared in federal court on charges of bank robbery and brandishing a firearm. McCoy, indicted for robbing two Truist Banks in October 2022, allegedly stole about $12,485. He faces charges of conspiracy, two counts of bank robbery, and one count of brandishing a firearm. His accomplice, Dawn Davis, has already pleaded guilty. The FBI is leading the investigation.
