A Malaysian account manager accused of stealing RM600,000 has had their remand extended.

The remand of a 30-year-old account manager in Perlis, Malaysia, accused of misusing power and stealing about RM600,000, has been extended for three more days. Another female staff member was initially arrested but has been released on bail. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) believes the fraud occurred between 2020 and 2024 and has seized luxury items, including jewelry worth about RM100,000.
