Altice agrees to $40M upgrade settlement in West Virginia after thousands of complaints.

Altice, West Virginia's largest internet provider, has agreed to a settlement including $40 million in upgrades, $4 million in customer credits, and a $500,000 payment to the state. This follows over 2,300 consumer complaints and aims to improve internet speeds and infrastructure. If Altice fails to complete the upgrades by 2027, they face an additional $40 million fine.
