"28 Years Later," directed by Danny Boyle and set for release on June 20, 2025, continues the "28 Days Later" saga, taking place 28 years after a rage virus outbreak. The film follows survivors on Holy Island as they face new challenges. Starring Ralph Fiennes, Jodie Comer, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, it is the first of a planned trilogy, with the second part, "The Bone Temple," directed by Nia DaCosta, set for January 16, 2026.
