A 17-year-old faces vehicular homicide charges after a high-speed crash killed a 74-year-old man.
A 17-year-old from Lancaster City faces charges for vehicular homicide after a fatal crash in East Petersburg on April 7.
The teenager, traveling at over 75 mph in a 25 mph zone, collided with 74-year-old Malcolm Parker's car, who later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Despite Parker not stopping fully at a stop sign, the district attorney's office determined the teen's excessive speed to be the primary cause of the accident.
The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Daniel Lingousky.
