White Sox settle salary arbitration with four players, including Andrew Vaughn for $5.85M.
The Chicago White Sox have avoided salary arbitration by signing four players to one-year deals, including first baseman Andrew Vaughn, who will earn $5.85 million. Right-handers Steven Wilson, Justin Anderson, and Penn Murfee also agreed to terms, earning $950,000, $900,000, and $780,000 respectively. Vaughn, 26, batted .246 with 19 home runs last season, while Anderson had a 4.39 ERA in 56 relief appearances. The moves mean the White Sox have settled with all arbitration-eligible players.
