The Philippine Board of Investments has approved a P2.35 billion project by International Container Terminal Services Inc. to modernize the Iloilo Commercial Port Complex into a state-of-the-art facility. The project includes advanced cargo handling and IT systems, aiming to create over 3,000 jobs and improve the region’s logistics performance. ICTSI will receive tax incentives and duty-free imports under the CREATE Act, enhancing the port's efficiency and attracting new investments.
