Nearly half of U.S. college students sympathize with Luigi Mangione, charged with killing UnitedHealthcare CEO.
A recent Generation Lab poll found that nearly half of college students in the U.S. sympathize with Luigi Mangione, who is charged with killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The poll showed 45% of students felt more sympathy for Mangione than Thompson, with only 17% supporting the CEO. Additionally, 81% had a negative view of Thompson, and 48% believed the murder was partly or fully justified.
