Los Angeles County has announced a 12-hour curfew starting Thursday evening in areas evacuated due to the Palisades and Eaton fires. The curfew, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., aims to prevent looting and crime; 20 arrests have already been made. The Eaton fire has damaged or destroyed over 4,000 structures, while the Palisades fire has affected over 5,300 structures. The California National Guard will deploy 400 members to assist with security and traffic control.
