Infosys sues Cognizant in Texas, alleging anticompetitive practices and poaching of executives.

Infosys, India's second-largest IT firm, has filed a counterclaim against U.S.-based competitor Cognizant in a Texas court, alleging anticompetitive practices and poaching of key executives. Infosys claims Cognizant uses contracts to prevent clients from working with competitors and restricts access to training, harming Infosys' healthcare platform, Infosys Helix. The lawsuit seeks triple damages and legal costs, accusing former Infosys executive and current Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar of delaying the platform's development. This follows a lawsuit by Cognizant's subsidiary in August, alleging Infosys stole trade secrets.
