Indian Supreme Court allows students who dropped out in 2024 to register for JEE-Advanced.

The Supreme Court in India has ruled that students who dropped out of college between November 5-18, 2024, can register for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Advanced. The decision was made after the Joint Admission Board initially allowed students who passed their Class 12 exams in 2023, 2024, or 2025 to appear for the exam three times, but then reduced it to two attempts. The court determined that students who made decisions based on the initial announcement should not be disadvantaged.
