BCCI honors Jay Shah, ICC's youngest chairman, elects new secretary and treasurer, discusses 2025 WPL venues.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will honor Jay Shah, the youngest-ever International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman, at a Special General Meeting (SGM) on Sunday. The meeting will also elect Devajit Saikia as the new BCCI secretary and Prabhtej Singh Bhatia as treasurer. The SGM will discuss potential venues for the 2025 Women's Premier League (WPL), scheduled to start in February. Shah, who took office in December, is focusing on expanding cricket globally, including talks for its inclusion in the 2032 Olympics.
