Bangalore International Airport saw a 9% increase in passenger traffic in 2024, handling over 40 million passengers and achieving record cargo tonnage of 496,227 metric tonnes. Growth was spurred by new routes and increased flights by airlines like IndiGo, Virgin Atlantic, and others. International passenger traffic rose by 21.1%, and cargo volumes grew 17%, with a 23% jump in international shipments.
