Nevada wildlife officials investigate two elk poaching cases near Utah border, seek public help.
The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) is investigating two cases of elk poaching near the Nevada-Utah border. The first involved a bull elk killed during Labor Day weekend, and the second, between Dec. 5 and 6, both in Lincoln County. Both elks were left to waste, and authorities suspect a Utah-based perpetrator. NDOW asks the public to provide any information through the OGT hotline or NDOW Tip app.
