Kazakhstan cuts 2025 oil production forecast due to maintenance and OPEC+ commitments.
Kazakhstan has lowered its 2025 oil production forecast from 97.2 million tonnes to 96.2 million tonnes due to maintenance at oil fields and adherence to OPEC+ agreements. This reduction follows previous adjustments in 2024 that impacted economic growth. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has instructed the energy ministry to meet the new targets.
