Six Malaysian vehicle inspection officers arrested for alleged bribery scheme, with two more suspects detained.

Six vehicle inspection officers from Malaysia's Puspakom center were suspended and arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over allegations of involvement in a syndicate that approved heavy vehicle inspections for bribes. Two other suspects were also detained. The MACC is investigating under the Anti-Corruption Act, and more arrests may follow. Puspakom CEO affirmed the organization will not tolerate such misconduct.
