Singaporean director Ong Kai Min is charged with defrauding investors of over $4.5 million.

Ong Kai Min, a 42-year-old Singaporean director of several companies, is charged with defrauding 17 individuals and a company of over $4.5 million between 2019 and 2021. He allegedly deceived investors into transferring funds to his companies, promising to use the money for trading. Ong is also accused of obstructing justice by deleting records, facing 23 counts of cheating and one count of obstructing justice. Each cheating count could result in up to 10 years in jail and a fine, while obstructing justice carries up to seven years in jail.
