Seafarers end pay dispute with Royal Fleet Auxiliary after accepting better pay and work conditions.
Seafarers at the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) have ended a pay dispute by accepting an improved offer, which includes significant salary increases, backpay, shorter assignments, and better work-life balance. The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union and Nautilus International, representing officer grades, both supported the deal. The RMT general secretary praised the seafarers' efforts, and negotiations for future improvements will continue with the RFA and Ministry of Defence.
