The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) plans to restart the Borokiri-Okrika Road project in Rivers State, Nigeria, which was abandoned in 2012. The 3.65km road project includes three bridges and is expected to link coastal communities to Port Harcourt, reducing travel time and improving access to services. The project is part of the 2024 NDDC budget and aims to enhance local trade. Stakeholders were briefed on the project at a recent forum.
