Minister of State for Home Affairs Sun Xueling reported that Singapore had 129 knife-related crimes in 2024, consistent with the past three years' average of 133 cases annually. In response to recent concerns, including a November stabbing at a church, she announced plans to regulate flick knives and knuckledusters in 2025. Police will also enhance training and patrols to handle potential threats.
