Canada's Infrastructure Bank loans $224.2M for Nova Scotia's Goose Harbour Wind Farm, reducing emissions.

The Canada Infrastructure Bank is providing a $224.2 million loan for a wind farm project in Nova Scotia. The Goose Harbour Lake Wind Farm, fully financed at $450 million, will generate 168 megawatts of electricity, reducing emissions by over 350,000 tonnes annually. Owned partly by 13 Mi'kmaq First Nations, the project will support the Port Hawkesbury Paper mill's electricity needs and create jobs.
