A scooter rider was killed in a hit-and-run incident early Sunday morning in South Los Angeles. The crash occurred around 1 a.m. on East Manchester Avenue. The victim, struck while riding westbound, died at the scene. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating but has not yet identified the fleeing vehicle. Witnesses and surveillance footage are sought to help identify the driver.
