Ireland's HSE cancels non-urgent healthcare services in several counties due to severe weather.
Due to severe weather, the Health Service Executive (HSE) in Ireland has cancelled services for January 6th in several counties, including Cork, Kerry, South Tipperary, Laois, and parts of the Mid West. Cancellations affect outpatient and day services, but critical services like ambulances, emergency departments, and treatments for dialysis, cancer, and prenatal care will continue. Patients are advised not to travel unless it's safe and their appointment is confirmed. The HSE will reschedule cancelled appointments and provide updates through social media.
