Mike Rinder, a former high-ranking executive of the Church of Scientology and a key whistleblower, has passed away at 69. Rinder, who was diagnosed with advanced esophageal cancer, left the church in 2007 and became a vocal critic, co-hosting the Emmy-winning docuseries "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath." His wife, Christie King Collbran, announced his death on Instagram.
