Digital Edge secures $1.6B to expand data centers in Asia, driven by AI and cloud demand.

Singapore-based Digital Edge, a data center company, has secured over $1.6 billion in new funding to expand its operations across Asia. The funds include $640 million in equity and $1 billion in debt, aimed at meeting the growing demand for AI and cloud services. Digital Edge currently operates 21 data centers in several Asian countries and plans further expansion, including a large facility in India set to open in 2025.
