Irish post-primary schools see record enrollment, surpassing Catholic schools for the second year.
Record enrollment of over 425,000 students in Irish post-primary schools marks an 8,858 increase from last year, with multi-denominational schools now enrolling more students than Catholic schools for the second year. Primary school enrollment dropped by almost 1%, with significant decreases in Dublin, Cork, Meath, and Clare. Ukrainian primary student numbers fell by 7.2%, while secondary enrollment rose by 1.1%.
