Grey seal pup births in Norfolk, UK, drop by 370 from last year, possibly due to changing migration patterns.

Over 3,200 grey seal pups were born this season along a five-mile stretch of Norfolk coast, UK, a decrease of 370 from last year's count of 3,796. The Friends of Horsey Seals group, which monitors the area, suggests some seals may be choosing alternative breeding grounds, such as Orford Ness in Suffolk. The chairman of the group, Peter Ansell, notes that this reduction is part of natural variability in seal migration.
