UK fire stations host clothing donations to raise £1 million, competing in a recycling challenge.

The Fire Fighters Charity is running a January campaign called "Bag It and Bank It," encouraging UK residents to donate unwanted clothes at fire stations. Over 1,000 recycling banks are set up, and a map on the charity’s website helps locate them. The campaign aims to raise £1 million, with £120 earned per tonne of clothing donated. A recycling championship also takes place, with fire stations competing for the most donations, rewarding winners with the Rag trophy.
